Meet Terry Kaiser Park

Terry Kaiser Park

Terry Kaiser Park is the founding attorney and heart of the firm. With over 43 years of legal experience, she is recognized across Indiana for her dedication to helping families affected by medical malpractice, birth injuries, and wrongful death.

A graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Terry earned her Juris Doctor in 1982 and has devoted her career to a single mission: holding negligent medical providers accountable while treating every client with dignity, honesty, and personalized care.

Terry also takes pride in mentoring the next generation of medical malpractice attorneys, ensuring that her standards of excellence and integrity continue to shape the future of patient advocacy in Indiana.

Peter Hayes – Associate Attorney

Peter Hampton Hayes

Peter Hayes is a second-year Associate Attorney at The Law Office of Terry Kaiser Park, P.C., where he focuses on plaintiff-side medical malpractice litigation. Known for his detail-oriented approach and strategic mindset, Peter represents clients in complex cases involving surgical errors, misdiagnoses, and other forms of medical negligence.

Peter works closely with Terry Kaiser Park, contributing to every stage of litigation—from early case investigation and legal research to drafting pleadings and preparing for trial. He brings clarity, precision, and tenacity to each case, always keeping client advocacy at the forefront.

As part of Terry’s mentorship of the next generation of medical malpractice attorneys, Peter continues to build his skills through hands-on experience and guided development.

Before joining the firm, Peter earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and his undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago. He is licensed to practice in Indiana and is an active member of both the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Peter is a loyal Bengals and Reds fan. Outside of the office, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and staying active at the gym.

Colin Long – Intake Coordinator

Colin Long

As the firm’s dedicated Intake Coordinator, Colin Long is often the first point of contact for potential clients—and he takes that responsibility to heart. Compassionate and attentive, Colin listens closely to each caller’s story, ensuring that every potential case is treated with the respect and urgency it deserves.

Originally from Alaska, Colin played semi-professional hockey across the U.S. before studying history and political science at Lindenwood University in Missouri. He is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, with the goal of continuing his career in legal advocacy.

Outside of work and law school, Colin enjoys fitness, travel, and exploring Indianapolis’s food scene—favorites include Gallery Pastry Bar for brunch and Maialina for Italian. He and his wife, Brittany, have been married since 2017 following a surprise proposal in Paris, and they’re excited to welcome their first child in December. Their home is also shared with two dogs, Maple and Echo, who round out their growing family.

Luke Purdy, JD – Intake Specialist

Luke Purdy, JD

Luke Purdy brings a unique blend of legal insight and healthcare experience to his role as an Intake Specialist at The Law Office of Terry Kaiser Park, P.C. As a licensed Indiana attorney since 2017, Luke offers a thoughtful and well-informed perspective when evaluating potential medical malpractice claims.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and his professional background includes criminal defense, private investigations, eDiscovery, and direct patient care. This wide-ranging experience allows him to approach intake conversations with both legal precision and deep empathy for what clients are going through.

Luke lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Karina. Together, they enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Outside of work, Luke is an avid reader and musician, often composing and playing music to unwind and stay creatively engaged.

Macayla McGowan – Intake Specialist

Macayla McGowan

Macayla McGowan brings a unique blend of medical knowledge and legal training to her role as an Intake Specialist at The Law Office of Terry Kaiser Park, P.C. With nearly three years of hands-on experience as a medical assistant and a strong academic background in biomedical sciences, she offers valuable insight into patient care, clinical terminology, and medical records—bridging the gap between medicine and the law.

Currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Macayla is passionate about patient advocacy and healthcare accountability. Her ability to approach intake with both empathy and precision makes her an essential part of our team and a trusted first point of contact for many families seeking justice.

Originally from New Castle, Indiana, Macayla played collegiate basketball at Trine University, where she earned her degree in biology. Outside of work and school, she enjoys following politics, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with her two younger sisters, Addi and Calliegh.

Ashley Munsel – Office Manager

Ashley Munsel serves as the Office Manager at The Law Office of Terry Kaiser Park, P.C., where she oversees daily operations, legal support, and team coordination with a sharp eye for detail and a deep commitment to client service. With over a decade of experience in legal administration and litigation support, Ashley plays a vital role in keeping the firm running smoothly and efficiently.

A native Texan, Ashley began her legal career as a receptionist at a leading personal injury firm in Austin, Texas, and quickly advanced to become the senior litigation paralegal and office manager. While working full-time, she earned her Paralegal Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin, showing the same drive and determination that continue to define her work today.

After relocating to Indianapolis in 2022, Ashley launched her own contract paralegal business, helping solo and startup firms streamline operations. She later returned to an in-office role following the birth of her youngest child and now brings her broad expertise to support the mission of the firm.

Ashley and her husband of 12 years are proud parents to four children. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, a good book, and passionately rooting for the Texas Longhorns. As a die-hard fan, fall Saturdays are reserved for burnt orange, spirited game-day traditions, and plenty of shouting at the TV. A lifelong fan, her connection to UT runs deep: her husband proposed in the end zone at DKR Stadium during a private tour, making her a forever fan in more ways than one.
